Happy Day After April Fools!:
- The Wall Street Journal points out that Jon Corzine is getting a pass for stealing over a billion while the Kardashian flour bomber is in jail. While their tone is that Corzine is getting off because he’s a Democrat, that’s a cheap ploy — financial criminals aren’t getting prosecuted regardless of party affiliation.
- This White House knows how to beat a rival silly on foreign policy. The beat down they laid on Romney after he tried to attack the Obama “hot mic” moment was a thing to behold.
- Daily Kos skewers the dumb prognostication going around that Obama’s approval rating, hovering just under 50%, bodes poorly for reelection chances. The one thing overlooked when explaining that Romney’s terrible numbers are even worse is that Clinton’s 1992 win had a lot to do with Ross Perot’s run.
