  • Have some fun learning about the people who give far, far, far, far more money to campaigns than you do. Yesterday I saw a conservative talking head object to the idea that this is “buying an election” because the people still get “one person, one vote.” This is true, but businesspeople tend not to be “stupid” and only spend money when the see a potential positive return and if the return is not “giving a candidate a disproportionate chance of winning, I don’t know why they’re throwing their money away.
